Yours/Ours/Mine ~ (Playground Display)
November & December 2023

mild steel, ceramic, magnets, swarovski crystals.
4 x 4 x 2 feet

I made this piece with the intention of it being a playground for one's most precious objects, encouraging people to play with their things instead of just putting them on display, not to be touched. What one collects and holds as their most precious objects is a reflection of identity and an extension of self--your collections grow with you throughout your life. I see this object as something that would follow me throughout life, and as I change and evolve, the playground and the objects it houses change with me. It is living and always evolving, never finished.
